Checking Your Device Configuration for ApexGuard
Follow these steps to ensure your device is properly configured for ApexGuard:
1. Add Exceptions for ApexGuard
- Add the ApexGuard app to the exceptions list in your antivirus, cleaner, and power saver applications.
- These apps can interfere with ApexGuard’s background processes, causing instability or preventing connection.
2. Disable Firewall Apps
- Ensure that no firewall apps are running on your device.
- Firewall apps use the same VPN interface as ApexGuard, which can block or conflict with the VPN connection.
3. Change DNS Servers
If the issue persists, try switching to custom DNS servers:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Go to Connections and select Wi-Fi.
- Tap the cog icon next to your current network and select Advanced.
- Change IP Settings to Static.
- Enter the following DNS addresses:
- DNS 1:
103.86.96.100 - DNS 2:
103.86.99.100
- DNS 1:
- Save the changes, disconnect from the network, and reconnect for the settings to take effect.
4. Reset Network Settings
If connection issues persist, reset your network settings:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Navigate to General Management and select Reset.
- Tap Reset Network Settings.
- Press Reset Settings.
- If your device uses a lock, you will need to unlock it to proceed.
- Confirm by tapping Reset Settings again.
This will reset all network settings, including Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth.
