How to Change DNS Servers on Windows

You can manually set ApexGuard’s DNS servers on your network adapter. Follow the steps for your Windows version.

Windows 10

  1. Right-click the network icon in the taskbar and select Network and Sharing Center.
  2. Click Change Adapter Options.
  3. Right-click your active network adapter (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) and select Properties.
  4. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
  5. Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter:
    • Preferred DNS server: (to be added)
    • Alternate DNS server: (to be added)
  6. Click OK, then Close.

Windows 11

  1. Search for Network Connections and open it, or press Windows + R and enter ncpa.cpl.
  2. Right-click your active network adapter (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) and select Properties.
  3. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
  4. Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the ApexGuard DNS addresses (to be added).
  5. Click OK, then Close.
