How to Change DNS Servers on Windows
You can manually set ApexGuard’s DNS servers on your network adapter. Follow the steps for your Windows version.
Windows 10
- Right-click the network icon in the taskbar and select Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Change Adapter Options.
- Right-click your active network adapter (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) and select Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
- Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter:
- Preferred DNS server: (to be added)
- Alternate DNS server: (to be added)
- Click OK, then Close.
Windows 11
- Search for Network Connections and open it, or press Windows + R and enter
ncpa.cpl. - Right-click your active network adapter (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) and select Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
- Choose Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the ApexGuard DNS addresses (to be added).
- Click OK, then Close.
