If you’re experiencing connectivity issues with ApexGuard on your iOS device, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. After completing each step, check if the issue persists before moving on to the next.

1. Reset Wi-Fi Network Settings (if using Wi-Fi)

Resetting your network settings can help resolve conflicts or misconfigurations:

  1. Go to Settings → General → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
    • This action will reset all Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN/APN configurations stored on your device.
  2. Open the Settings app and navigate to Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap the i icon next to your connected network.
  4. Select Renew Lease at the bottom to reset your device’s IP address and refresh the connection.
  5. Restart your phone.

2. Set ApexGuard DNS Server Addresses (if using Wi-Fi)

Manually setting DNS servers can improve connection stability:

  1. Open the Settings app and tap Wi-Fi.
  2. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on, then select your connected network by tapping the blue i icon.
  3. Tap Configure DNS → Manual.
  4. Add the following DNS addresses:
    • 103.86.96.100
    • 103.86.99.100
  5. Tap Save to apply changes.

3. Switch Between Servers

Try connecting to different servers in the ApexGuard app:

  • Select servers in various countries or regions to see if the issue resolves.

4. Reinstall the ApexGuard App

Reinstalling the app ensures you’re using the latest version and can resolve potential app-related issues:

  1. Tap and hold the ApexGuard app icon.
  2. Tap the X icon in the upper-left corner to uninstall the app.
  3. Download and reinstall ApexGuard from the App Store.
