Troubleshooting Connectivity on iOS
If you’re having trouble connecting to ApexGuard on your iOS device, work through these steps in order. After each one, check whether the issue is resolved before moving on.
1. Switch servers
Open the ApexGuard app and connect to a different country or location. If another server works, the issue was with that specific server.
2. Restart your device
Power your iPhone or iPad off and back on, then try connecting again.
3. Set ApexGuard DNS Servers (Wi-Fi Only)
- Open Settings and go to Wi-Fi.
- Tap the i icon next to your connected network.
- Tap Configure DNS → Manual.
- Add these DNS addresses:
- (to be added)
- (to be added)
- Tap Save.
4. Reinstall the app
- Press and hold the ApexGuard icon, then tap Remove App.
- Tap Delete App and confirm.
- Download and reinstall ApexGuard from the App Store.
5. Reset network settings
This is a last resort. It clears all saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN configurations, so have your Wi-Fi passwords ready before you start.
- Go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
- Reopen Settings and go to Wi-Fi.
- Tap the i icon next to your network and select Renew Lease.
- Restart your device.
