Disable IPv6 on Android (Mobile Data)
Forcing your mobile connection to IPv4 can resolve certain connectivity issues on LTE. This applies to mobile data only and does not affect IPv6 over Wi-Fi. Menu names vary slightly by manufacturer, so your exact path may differ.
- Open your mobile network settings:
- Go to Settings → SIM cards & Mobile Networks.
- Select your active SIM card.
- Edit your APN settings:
- Open Access Point Names.
- Tap your network → APN Protocol and APN Roaming Protocol.
- Set both to IPv4.
IPv6 will now be disabled for mobile networks.
