Installing the ApexGuard App on iPhone or iPad

Downloading and Setting Up the App

1. Open the App Store on your device.
2. Search for “ApexGuard” in the search bar.
   • Note: If the app is unavailable in your region due to restrictions, refer to our guide on downloading ApexGuard in restricted regions.
3. Tap Download to install the app.
4. Once the installation completes, tap Open to launch ApexGuard.
5. Log In or Sign Up:
   • If you already have an account, click Log In and enter your email and password.
   • If you’re new, press Sign Up to create an account. After registering, choose your plan within the app.
6. Agree to the privacy policy by clicking Agree and Continue.

Connecting to ApexGuard Servers

1. On the main screen, tap the Quick Connect button. The app will automatically select the most suitable server for your needs.
2. When connecting for the first time, allow ApexGuard to add VPN configurations:
   • Tap Allow when prompted.
   • Confirm with Touch ID, Face ID, or your passcode if requested.
3. Once connected, you’ll see:
   • A Connected message above the map.
   • The selected country’s map pin turning green.
   • A VPN icon in your status bar.

Choosing Servers

1. By Country: Tap a country pin on the map, then press Quick Connect.
2. Full List:
   • Swipe up to see all available countries and specialty servers.
   • Tap your preferred country to connect automatically.
3. By City:
   • Tap the three dots next to a country to select a specific city.
   • ApexGuard will rank servers based on your needs.
4. Search: Use the search bar to find specific servers by server number.

Additional Features

• Profile Information:
  • Access your profile, shortcuts, and settings by tapping the profile icon in the bottom-right corner.
  • View subscription details, security dashboard, and settings.
• Dark Web Monitor:
  • Automatically scans the web for leaked credentials associated with your registered email.
  • Notifies you immediately of potential data breaches.
• Security Score:
  • Offers recommendations to maximize your online protection.
• Threat Protection:
  • Blocks ads and malicious domains via DNS filtering.
  • Requires an active connection to a VPN server and manual activation in settings.
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
  • Add an extra layer of security by enabling MFA, which requires an authentication code during login.

Settings

1. VPN Connection:
   • Auto-Connect: Automatically connects to a VPN whenever your device is on and connected to a Wi-Fi network.
   • Trusted Wi-Fi Networks: Disable auto-connect for specific networks, such as your home Wi-Fi.
   • Reset VPN Profile: Reconfigure the VPN settings if needed.
2. General Settings:
   • Appearance: Choose between light or dark themes.
   • Notifications: Enable or disable app notifications.
   • Help Us Improve: Share anonymous usage data to enhance the service.
   • Siri Shortcuts: Create custom voice commands for hands-free control of the app.
   • Subscription & Privacy: Manage your subscription and review privacy details.
   • Rate Us: Leave feedback on the App Store.
   • Refer a Friend: Share your referral link to invite others and earn rewards.
