Installing ApexGuard on Windows 10 and 11
Downloading and Installing ApexGuard
- Download the ApexGuard app from the official website.
- Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder and double-click ApexGuardInstall.exe.
- If prompted, allow the app to make changes to your device by clicking Yes.
- Follow the on-screen installer steps:
- Click Next.
- Choose whether to create Desktop and/or Start Menu shortcuts.
- Click Install to proceed.
- Once the installation is complete, you can launch ApexGuard immediately by clicking Finish.
Setting Up and Using ApexGuard
- Launch the ApexGuard app via the Desktop shortcut or Start Menu.
- Click Log In to continue. Your default browser will open to the login page:
- Enter your registered email address or username and password.
- If you don’t have an account, follow the link to create one.
- To start using ApexGuard, click Quick Connect for instant connection to the best available server.
Navigating the ApexGuard Interface
- Quick Connect: Instantly connects to the fastest, nearest server.
- Search Bar: Find specific servers by country, city, server number, or category.
- Specialty Servers: Explore options for tasks like streaming or heightened security.
- Recent Connections: Quickly reconnect to previously used servers.
- All Countries: Browse a complete list of available server locations.
Exploring ApexGuard Features
- Threat Protection Pro™: Advanced ad-blocking, tracker prevention, and malware protection.
- Dark Web Monitor: Monitor the web for any credential leaks tied to your registered email address.
- Split Tunneling: Exclude selected apps from the VPN connection.
- Kill Switch: Ensure no internet access occurs when disconnected from the VPN.
Customizing ApexGuard Settings
- General Settings:
- Launch ApexGuard at Windows startup.
- Enable/disable notifications for connection status.
- Choose between light or dark mode.
- Select your preferred language.
- Connection Settings:
- Set a preferred auto-connect server or country.
- Enable “Invisibility on LAN” to keep your device hidden on local networks.
- Configure custom DNS servers for added flexibility.
