Connecting to ApexGuard with the Firefox Extension
Installing the ApexGuard Firefox Extension
- Open the Firefox browser and visit theFirefox Add-ons website.
- Search for ApexGuard VPN and click Add to Firefox.
- Grant the necessary permissions by clicking Add.
- Allow the extension to run in private windows by checking the appropriate box and clicking Okay.
- Once installed, the ApexGuard logo will appear on the toolbar in the top-right corner of your browser.
- Click the ApexGuard logo, log in with your ApexGuard credentials, and start using the extension.
Using and Customizing the ApexGuard Firefox Extension
- Protected Status: Once connected to a server, the status bar will display “Protected.”
- Quick Connect: Click this button for an instant connection to the fastest available server.
- Search: Manually select a server location by country.
- Settings: Customize the extension via the following options:
- General: View subscription details, change appearance, set language preferences, and manage split tunneling.
- Connection: Enable automatic server connection or exclude specific URLs from the VPN.
- Security and Privacy: Activate WebRTC Leak protection, enable Threat Protection, and set security warnings for unsafe websites.
Additional Features
- Support Assistance: Access live chat support and detailed help resources.
- Notifications: Receive updates and news about the ApexGuard extension.
- Recently Connected Countries: View a list of recent connections or get recommendations if you haven’t connected yet.
