ApexGuard Proxy Setup for uTorrent
How to Set Up ApexGuard with uTorrent
- Open uTorrent:
- Go to Options > Preferences, or press Ctrl + P.
- Configure Proxy Settings:
- Navigate to the Connection section.
- Under Proxy Server, choose Socks5 as the type.
In the Proxy field, enter one of these server addresses:

atlanta.us.socks.apexhold.net
dallas.us.socks.apexhold.net
los-angeles.us.socks.apexhold.net
...
In the Port field, enter:

- Enable Checkboxes:
- Authentication
- Use proxy for hostname lookups
- Use proxy for peer-to-peer connections
- Disable local DNS lookups
- Disable features that leak identifying information
- Disable unsupported proxy connections
- Authentication Details:
- Username: Your ApexGuard service username.
- Password: Your ApexGuard service password.
- Retrieve these credentials from your account dashboard:
- Go to Set Up ApexGuard Manually.
- Enter the email verification code and copy the credentials provided.
- Retrieve these credentials from your account dashboard:
- Save Changes:
- Click Apply, then OK.
How to Check If the Proxy Is Working
- Visitipleak.net.
- Go to the Torrent Address Detection section and activate the test by clicking the Magnet Link.
- Open uTorrent when prompted and add the torrent.
- Check Torrent Address Detection on ipleak.net:
- If you see the IP of the ApexGuard proxy server, the setup is working.
- If not, refresh the page to update results.
