What is a VPN Server Name or Address?

The VPN server hostname, or VPN address, refers to the specific location of a VPN server. It can be an IP address or a domain name. When setting up manual connections or advanced configurations, you may need to specify the server hostname.

How to Find a Server Hostname

Log in to your ApexGuard account.
Click ApexGuard and scroll down to Advanced Settings.
Select Set Up ApexGuard Manually.
Go to the Server Recommendation tab.
- The tool will recommend the best server based on your location.
To customize your server, press Advanced Filters and choose the server type or security protocol.

For example, a hostname might look like this:
