Finding Your Wi-Fi Configuration

  • iOS: Tap the i icon next to the connected Wi-Fi network and scroll to find the IP address and subnet mask.
  • macOS: Go to System Settings > Wi-Fi > Details and check the TCP/IP section.

Verifying Correct Wi-Fi Configuration

Your local network IP address and subnet mask should follow these standard ranges:

IP AddressSubnet Mask
10.x.x.x255.x.x.x
172.16.x.x–172.31.x.x255.240.x.x–255.255.x.x
192.168.x.x255.255.x.x

If your configuration doesn’t match, adjust your router’s DHCP settings:

  1. Log in to your router.
  2. Navigate to DHCP Settings.
  3. Use the following configuration:
    • Router IP: 192.168.0.1
    • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    • DHCP Range: 192.168.0.10 – 192.168.0.200
  4. Save the settings and reconnect your devices.
